House relocation has been around in Australia since the early days of our colonial history when houses and buildings were transported by horse and camel teams.

Today, buildings are all moved using specialised equipment in the form of low loader floats and hydraulic jacking systems unique to the house removal industry.

There are many different types of buildings that can be relocated: buildings that are designed and manufactured in a yard, built to a standard dimension in the form of steel or timber framing or panel type system for the ease of transport as well as the older second-hand cottage style homes that were not originally designed for relocation but are able to be moved to a new site using our specialised moving equipment.

Building relocations are an affordable alternative to other forms of housing and contribute significantly to the recycling of building materials by limiting the need for demolition during redevelopment of urban areas.
